Will start by saying windows is up to date

Having a bunch of issues which I believe all tie into error 0x80072efd.

Image

-Also have error 0x80072ee2

-Install button in app store turns grey but does nothing. Yes I tried with other apps.

-The Get Updates button just spins.

On Steams Halo Master Chief Collection it never gets past Contacting Server.

On Call of Duty MW2 Steam I'm unable to communicate with players that are using Xbox
......Really hard to screenshot that..

EA App Doesn't load anything.

I dont know if this is connected or not but games that use EasyAntiCheat like the Battlefield series gives me an error saying something along the lines of needing to be connected to the internet which I clearly am.

=======Things That I have tried================================

-SFC scan

-Reset store cache with wsreset.exe

-I uninstalled and reinstalled the microsoft app store

-I disabled windows firewall

-I ported some apps

-I updated my Wi-Fi driver

-I used my ethernet, Wi-Fi, and someone else's Wi-Fi

-I uninstalled Bitdefender

-Looking at running services

Here is some of my laptop info https://spec-ify.com/profile/ba6d9fd2

What more can I try?

I REALLY don't want to have to reinstall Windows

By the way, regarding your other query, "Keep personal files and apps" preserves everything, including your store apps as well as the classic desktop (non-store) apps.

    Hi, TauntMussel4,

Sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue.

As you already tried several troubleshooting and the problem persists, you can try to perform the repair upgrade with the Windows ISO before the reinstallation of Windows, this procedure will repair all Windows files, apps, services, and registry keys.

1-Download the Windows 11 ISO at this link.

    https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/software-downlo...

2-Double-click your ISO file, and click on the setup.exe file.

3-You may be prompted by User Account Control. Click on Yes if so.

4-In the Install Windows 11 dialog, click on Change how Setup downloads updates.

5-Select "Not right now". This will save you from downloading a new build (if available). Click Next.

6-Setup will check your PC and show a license agreement. Click on Accept in the license terms dialog.

7-Wait for the setup program to check for the available free space.

8-On the Ready to install page, click the Change what to keep.

9-Now, you can select Keep personal files and apps, Keep personal files only, and Nothing. Also, Nothing is the only option that will be available if your installation media doesn't match the installed Windows 11 version or language.

Note: It is safe to close the setup wizard at this step and cancel the repair install process. Otherwise, you won't be able to cancel it later. Finally, click Next.

10-Click on Install to start the repair install of Windows 11.

Thank you for replying so fast. I will give this a try after I go to sleep but would first like to confirm, will selecting "Keep personal files and apps" keep my programs or does "apps" refer to apps installed from the microsoft store?
