Hello,

I have two people who are experiencing this problem in their Outlook 2016 32 bit (v.16.0.13929.20206) on Windows 10 20H2.

This problem occurs both in safe mode and normal mode.

The first person, I managed to correct by going to activate the option (Mail) "Close original message window when replying or forwarding.

On the other hand the second person, I tried the same correction, without success.

Here is what was tested for the second person:

  • Outlook.exe /safe: NO
  • Creation of a new Outlook profile: NO
  • Deactivation of Add-ons: NO
  • Reinstallation of Microsoft 365 Apps for Enterprise (32 bit): NO
  • Activation of the option (Mail) "Close the original message window when replying or forwarding": NO

Need your help please :)

    Hi all,

Here is an update of this issue:

This issue has been fixed in Office version 2106. A fix for Office version 2105 will be release at a later date. For more information, please refer to this official document: "The properties of the message have been changed" prompt when forwarding/replying in Outlook.

If it's possible, it's recommended to update your Office to version 2106 to check if the issue has any difference.
