    Hello fuuuuw,

Good to see you in Microsoft Community.

Firstly, could you let me know the specific system version? You can check it by pressing the Win key + R key, and typing "winver", then press Enter, please take a screenshot/photo of it, and only send the relevant information without PII in the next reply.

Because Windows language packs are downloaded via the Microsoft Store, it may be that the Microsoft Store and the apps in it need to be updated, causing delays in your downloading language packs. You can try the steps below.

    1. Optimize network connection

"Win" logo key + "Q" to open the search box, type 'ncpa.cpl', press Enter to open the "Network Connections" window, select your network adapter, right-click it > "Properties", double-click "Internet Protocol Version (TCP/IP)", then check “Use the following DNS server address", and*****type* "4.2.2.1" in "Preferred DNS server", and type "4.2.2.2" in "Alternate DNS server", then press OK*.*

If your other network applications fail to work properly (unable to load or slow connection) due to the above changes, you can set it to "Obtain DNS server address automatically" after the problem is fixed.

    2. Check for apps Updates

Open Microsoft Store*, click "Library" in the lower left corner, then you will see the installed applications, click "Get updates" to see if there are any available update, and click the "Update" button on the right to update.*

After you've updated all the apps that can be updated, including the Microsoft Store itself, you can install Chinese language packs again in Windows Settings.

If the installation still fails, you can completely remove the Chinese language pack in Windows Settings and use the following command to install it. Run Power Shell *as an administrator ("Win" logo key + "Q", enter "*Power Shell ", select "Run as administrator"), and enter the following commands one by one. These commands require network support, please keep your network stable and smooth. The speed of the download and installation depends on your internet speed, so please be patient.

    Dism /Online /Add-Capability /CapabilityName:Language.Basic~~~zh-CN~0.0.1.0

    Dism /Online /Add-Capability /CapabilityName:Language.Fonts.Hant~~~und-HANs~0.0.1.0

    Dism /Online /Add-Capability /CapabilityName:Language.TextToSpeech~~~zh-CN~0.0.1.0

If anything is unclear, please do not hesitate to let me know.
