First, I want to send this message to windows developers, why are the new versions of windows have lot of issues, you suppose to fix everything from A-Z before you release your product to the market, to get the user's satisfaction. And if the old versions of windows like XP, 7 and 8.1 still receiving updates, I won't install neither windows 10 nor 11.

I have just installed windows 11 22H2 v2. When I'm going to install any version of directX it stops and gives me an error (please check the attached photo). please tell me how to fix it.

Also it takes long time to start any program setup.

    Hi Bilal_Ali,

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

We fully understand the inconvenience the issue has caused.

What you have appears to be a collection of plural problems.

A collection of multiple questions means that exploring related factors is difficult to advance.

Is the Windows 11 22H2 you installed upgraded from other versions of Windows*? Such as Windows10, Windows 11 21H2 or other Windows versions?*

Besides, it is also a direction to consider observing whether there will be errors in installing DirectX in safe mode.

For the abnormally long startup time problem, it may be related to the profile of the account, or it may be related to abnormal system components.

If the problem exists in safe mode as well as under the new local account, there may be a deeper system component abnormality.

In addition, could you please provide the two log files pointed to in the picture, namely DXError.log and DirectX.log.

They may be located on the same drive letter as the system, the log files may probably be helpful for analysis.

Thanks for your patience and understanding!

If you have any other supplementary information on this issue, please feel free to let us know.

    Best Regards,
