I still cannot reproduce an API.dll CTD, ever since I stopped using REX.
I will keep digging, because the FSX nostalgia is worth more than anyone can ever imagine :)

Hi,
Lately my Microsoft Flight Simulator X has been crashing with API.dll as the faulting module.
This is probably caused by a Windows update dating back from April.
There is absolutely nothing one can do to fix this, unless rolling back the update is possible, which it isn't.
The update that's causing the crashes is most likely "KB5025221".
What can I do?

I also still have the same issue. It's a shame.
I recommend everyone that is experiencing the issue to submit a support request with Microsoft: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/home/contact
This will help increase exposure to the issue and will hopefully expedite a hotfix.
Hi , Jessyde.
I am Ivan, I will help you with this.
According to reports published on Reddit and even on Microsoft's support pages, the KB5025221 update, released on April 11, brought performance issues to Windows 10.
But if the update was in April, the problem has been presented now, a little strange. How do you post the event viewer of the game's error?
Not only that, the update also caused some users to experience problems with printing services and some bugs in the system with Virtual drivers for using the system's graphics. The update, worth noting, had a fix that was letting the system recognize USB printers as multimedia device

Thanks
Hi, thanks for the help.
I don't own the game through Steam; I have a boxed copy.
