Hi,
I was working on my laptop when suddenly the arrow on my screen disappeared. I tried shutting down and restarting my laptop which brought back the arrow. However, after a few minutes, it disappeared again. I tried the same method again but it didn't work. So, I uninstalled the device, "focaltech pointing device," under mice and other pointing devices and restarted my laptop. It brought back a new device, "PS/2 compatible mouse," and the arrow started working as well.
However, now, the arrow disappeared again and my laptop also started acting up. So, I restared it and now it is stuck in the "Preparing Automatic Repair" loop. After which, I get this window that says:

Recovery:
ROM Image is not loaded
ROM Image update denied
Can someone please tell me how I might fix this issue? Thank you so much.

Aptio Setup is your BIOS and if your PC is booting to VIOS, that may indicate a hardware issue.
In BIOS, find the option to restore optimized BIOS defaults and apply that
Save those settings and restart your laptop, does it boot into Windows?
