Hello everyone, I have a problem like this, I am using a desktop pc, a device with amd am3+ ddr3 msi 970 (ms 7693) motherboard, amd phenom II X II 555 cpu, ati radeon 4600 graphics card, 16384 ram, windows 10 pro 22H2, on this device Although it sees the amount of ram that is physically installed and 16384 in the bios, it sees 16384 as 7.96 gb of usable ram. I tried the suggestions in many yuotube videos to change this situation, but the amount of ram still available is 7.96 gb. as giving. All updates have been made, there are no incompatible devices, rams are not incompatible, I tried the change in the msconfig setting, no results.

Hello, thank you for the information you provided. The rams I used are 2x4(8), 2x4(8) GB. 16384GB in total. There are 4 slots on the motherboard, previously 14 GB in this device. It was working with then 16 GB. as updated. Also, the double channel closing process you mentioned, exactly in which tab should I close the item in which line?

    Hi AlptekinKılıçaslan,

For your motherboard, a max module size of 8GB is supported, how many memory modules are you using & what size are they?

1x 16GB would result in this situation

4x 4GB, 2x8GB or 8GB +2x4GB with different types of memory might also have this result, but might be fixed by turning off dual channel mode in the bios

    Hope this helps,
