Hallo, i'm using windows 11 22H2 on Zbook 17 G2, my problem is i can't change the deafult apps to open .dwg / .dxf files with autoCAD 2021 , the windows default apps keep choosing wrong apps for me (the deafult apps always show autocad 2024 that version i was uninstall),

here is my screenshoot

first i choose "an app on your pc" and directly to open autocad 2021 file, but nothing changes

i choose the right app

and the result is still same : showing the wrong app

note : i was fully uninstall the 2024 version and delete all folder certain that version , but the deafult apps always show wrong apps

AutoCAD registration was not found in the location #1 searched by the script. Next, let's examine the file associations. Download FileTypeDiag from Leo Davidson (About FileTypeDiag), generate the .dwg association log, and upload it to your OneDrive

Please download my DARF.vbs script from GitHub and run it. The script lists out the registry keys of apps registered on the computer. Based on the report, the obsolete entries can be deleted manually.

You'll see a dialog like the one below when you run the script.

In the text box, type ** and press Enter.

After a minute or so, the script will produce a log file.

Please upload that file on OneDrive/Dropbox and share the link here.
