Hi, all

A customer of ours is having this issue when saving to a network drive area. I have already tried -

  1. Updated all drives
  2. Installed all Windows updates
  3. Updated Edge
  4. Update Adobe Acrobat
  5. Done an online Office repair
  6. chkdsk C: /f
  7. sfc /scannow

Any suggestions appreciated.

Check if the problem persists in a clean boot. You can see how to perform a clean boot at this link.

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/how-t...

If the problem doesn't happen in the clean boot, check the section "How to determine what is causing the problem after you do a clean boot" to see how to identify which app is causing the problem.

    Hi, Robinson

Thanks for the reply. I did see this on forums before posting, however this service does not exist on the affected computer.

    Kind regards,

    Jacob

    Hi, Jacob,

Sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue.

Usually, this error is triggered by the "ASUS data security management" service, stopping this service or uninstalling it should fix the problem.

1-Right-click on Start then click on Run

2-Type: services.msc and click on Ok

3-Search for "ADSM service", and double-click on that

4-Change the "Startup type" to disable and click on the Stop button

5-Then check if the problem is fixed

If you want to uninstall it:

1-Right-click on Start then click on Run

2-Type: Control Panel and click on OK

    3-Click on "Uninstall a program"

4-Search for "ASUS data security management", right-click on that and select uninstall

5-When finished, reboot your PC and check if the problem was fixed

Wow This Acrobat Program can't write English.

Try saving the file To C Drive then try to move it to the network drive. If you cannot save to the network drive. You will need to contact your network administrator and grant the user permissions for read/write access on the drive For both computers
