Cannot log in to File Explorer

I notice on File Explorer that it says to me, please sign in.

So I try and I get the attached:

It isn't possible to get the account.live.com page to load, for whatever reason, so I go to: https://account.microsoft.com/ instead.

Assuming this is the correct place to have gone, I of course get the default screen which is the My Account screen.

Unfortunately, no information or direction whatsoever and which of these 8 tiles contain the settings that I need to adjust or explore - so what would be the right one for me to look at?

I check out the sign-ins one and nothing but successful sign-ins listed for the account in question.

So what is wrong with my account and where, that's causing me to be asked to log in to File Explorer but then not letting me. Some things for me to look at would be fantastic as I'm stumped on what to do next.

    Hi Flibbetygibbet

That login in File Explorer may also be looking for your AD login and File Explorer is trying to get access to your files from there.

In Explorer Home click the three dots menu at the top

    Choose Options.

Under Privacy uncheck "Show files from Office.com".

Click OK and restart File Explorer.
