Recently i'm experiencing some weird problem with keyboard. When I type letters like "v", "b", "n" and "m" i get an extra character attached to it automatically. For e.g. if I type "b" the screen would type either "vb" or "bv". If I type "v" then screen would type either "vb" or "bv". Same applies to letters "n" and "m". Any thing I type i would either get "nm" or "mn". This is causing problem for me as my few accounts are getting locked due to incorrect password. If I restart my machine the problem seems to get resolve for some time but suddenly while working it start coming again. Is there any solution for this? Recently I have installed fresh Windows 10 Pro on my Lenovo Yoga 260. Note : I'm typing this query from same laptop but till this time i'm not getting any extra charter printed when i type "b", "v", "n" or "m". More importantly it is currently happening with only these 4 letters. Any advise ? Thanks in advance, Dinesh Maharjan

Hi Dinesh, my name is John D. an independent advisor happy to help you with this.

Firstly, you can try running the Keyboard Troubleshooter by following these steps: Type “Troubleshoot” in Windows Start Search box > Click “Troubleshoot” > Scroll down and click “Keyboard” > Run the troubleshooter > Follow onscreen directions.

If that does not work, you can also try uninstalling the Keyboard Driver and reboot the computer to reinstall. Additionally, you can turn off filter keys in Ease of Access, ensure “Turn on filter Keys” is not checked.

If none of these steps resolve the issue, you can try cleaning your keyboard or checking if the USB connection is secure (if you’re using a USB connection). If you have a wireless keyboard, make sure the charge is good.

I hope that these steps are helpful in resolving the issue.

    Best regards,

    John D.
