Cannot Active Windows - Something interrupted our troubleshooting 0x80070002,

Hi,

Unable to activate windows. Only recently noticed the prompt, but get the error “Something interrupted our troubleshooting 0x80070002” everytime I try.

If I troubleshoot, it says: “Troubleshooting has completed. We can’t activate your copy of Windows. Make sure you are connected to the internet and try again. If you are connected to the internet and continue seeing this problem, contact our support…..  I am having Windows 11 pro

If I try to change the product key, It asks for the previous key which I can see the last 4 digits only, And if that is the case how can I issue new product key

    i am connected to the internet and it still says connect to the internet to activate windows im windows 11 plz help

    Hello, I'm Greg, here to help you with this.

    How was Windows 10 originally Activated on the PC? Did it come preinstalled from Factory, was it Upgraded with free or paid Upgrade, or was it a retail license?

    For Upgrade when you first upgraded and it activated it assigned a permanent Digital License to the PC in Microsoft Activation Servers so you can reinstall any time and in any way you want as long as you reinstall the licensed version. It should reactivate soon after going online.

    Factory installs have the Product Key embedded in BIOS or UEFI firmware and should activate themselves, but you can check for the key by installing ShowKey: https://github.com/Superfly-Inc/ShowKeyPlus/rel... then insert it in Settings > Update & Security > Activation > Change Product Key.

    Retail keys must be reinserted for reinstalls during install or in Settings.

    To determine the type of license being used, press Windows key + R, type slmgr -dlv, take a screenshot following this guide to capture a screenshot and attach it using Attach Image button in reply box: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-10/o...

    What is the Status and Edition shown at the top of the page at Settings > Update & Security > Activation?

    Run the Activation Troubleshooter at Settings > Update & Security > Activation.

    Sometimes the activation files can become corrupted and be fixed by running System File Checker and DISM from Step 10 in this checklist:
