GPU / Driver not working

Anonymous
2023-04-13T07:17:42+00:00

Hello, sadly It's not easy to describe the Problem, I'll give it a try:

After a random amount of uptime the Notebook freezes for 2-3 seconds and some old win7 like things appear, Screenshot attached:

EDIT:

Notebook - Aorus 15P XD
AORUS 15P (Intel 11th Gen) Specification | Laptop - GIGABYTE Global

Sometimes it happens once a day, sometimes everytime I boot the notebook...

After this I'm not able to start any games or other applications anymore (does not disable everything, but games and discord for example)

Usually while the process or at the next reboot I get a bsod with the error code: VIDEO_DXGKRNL_FATAL_ERROR

The process is nvlddkm.sys (Nvidia driver)

According to this I tried the following Solutions:

Restart PC
Restart GPU Driver
Re-Install GPU Driver
Re-Install Windows
Downgrade Windows
Downgrade GPU Driver

-Still no Fix

I'll also provide a dump file:

    Hi Spruiid

I am Dave, I will help you with this.

Completely remove the current Nvidia device driver using the widely available free DDU utility, then restart your PC and go to the support page for your PC on the manufacturer's website to download and install their recommended version of the Nvidia device driver.

A slightly older version of that driver is more stable than the latest version, try installing a couple of slightly older versions of the Nvidia driver or the Studio driver if that is available on the Nvidia website.

I Already did that in the past, because I want to find the problem I'll do so again anyways.

The Driver is from 2021 so even if it works I wouldn't be very happy with it.

But thank you for your reply!

I'll give u some feedback after I used it for a certain time!
