Hello. I recently purchased a PS1 controller, and am trying to use a PS1/PS2 controller adapter to connect it to my PC. My PC runs Windows 11, and it is not being read as a controller by my PC. I was wondering if there is something I am doing wrong or something I can do to fix this.

    Hello Carson, welcome to the Microsoft community, I'll be happy to help you today;

    What exactly is the adapter model?

    Usually these adapters don't need anything to work, just plug them in;

    Try connecting the adapter and controller;

    Check Windows Update for pending updates;

    Press Windows key + i and go to Windows Update;

    Click Check for updates and do ALL pending updates;

    After performing all the updates, restart the PC;

    The control should work;

    See you soon!

    Hi! Thanks so much for the quick reply.

    I currently am unable to try these things, but I will get back to you when I can. I can, however, send you the link to the exact adapter I am using.
