How do I fix this display issue

I’m having an issue where my pc randomly cuts the signal to my monitors, I’m using a display cable on one and an hdmi on the other. It went from randomly showing no signal while playing games to showing nothing but a few blue dots upon startup. I’ve done plenty of troubleshooting from unplugging everything for a while and trying again to installing drivers. I also tried plugging my display cable into the 2 other ports but still nothing. I have no idea what to do. Hopefully this isn’t a gpu issue but I fear it is. If anyone has a better idea, please let me know.

Hi, thanks for that information, and it doesn't show the Windows logo? in that case, there might be a hardware issue on the Pc, it is either the board or the hardware is getting power loss, in this case, I suggest contacting a local technician to physically check the device for any hardware-related issues.

I tested both, the screen will show the ROG logo as my pc is a asus prebuilt (which might be part of the problem) and options for the bios. But no recovery mode from restarting or shift and spamming f8.

Hi, thanks for that information, in that case, we need to go to Windows recovery mode and try the options there:

Restart the device 3-5 times until I reach Windows recovery mode, wherein you have the option to select Continue, Troubleshoot, or Exit.

Or try to Press and hold the Shift key while continuously pressing F8 while starting the PC

    Then on Windows Recovery:

    Do system Restore:

Click Troubleshoot> Advanced options> System restore - Follow the prompt and choose the date when it was working fine.

At this moment I cannot do anything. Upon startup I get a black screen with a few blue dots. My display cable monitor shows no signal while my hdmi monitor shows the black screen with blue dots.

I understand the issue you have, nothing to worry I am here to help, and just to confirm can you still use the affected device? if so, we need to analyze the error, can you please check if you have minidump files on the PC so that we can further examine what is the root cause of the issue?

Press Windows key + E (To open file explorer)

Click "This PC" > then follow the file path:

    C:\Windows\Minidump

Copy the Minidump files and save them to another location like Desktop or Documents.

Then please upload it to Cloud storage and please share the shareable link here.

Note: If you cannot see minidump files, can you please check the System logs on the PC so that we can further examine what is the root cause of the issue?
