Bluetooth headset speaker not working

Hi there,

I am experiencing some issues with my new headset (JLAB Go Work). I connected the headset via bluetooth and afterwards I got the following devices:

Speakers:

  • JLab GO Work Hands-Free AG Audio
  • JLab GO Work Stereo

Microfone:

  • JLab GO Work Hands-Free AG Audio

Basically all I want to do is to work with it via ms teams. But unfortunately this seems impossible.

So this works: Sometimes the speakers (both of them) are working properly: I can hear people talking in ms teams, i can watch and hear youtube videos (fun fact: only with JLab GO Work Stereo speaker, using the Hands-Free speaker automatically crashes the video :') ). Sometimes people can hear my voice using the JLab mic.

But most of the time something is not working. Sometimes I can hear them, but they cant hear me. Sometimes nothing works. And I dont know why. The Headset-speakers and the microphone can work so I guess the problem is not hardware based.

Does someone know what to do in this case? I am honest here, I sat the last 2 hours trying to fix this and I am done... :D

I'm Rodrigo and I'll help you.

Bluetooth audio devices do not work in Stereo mode and use the microphone simultaneously, to use it on Teams, set the JLab GO Work Hands-Free AG Audio as the default audio device. Right-click the volume icon on the taskbar > Sounds > Playback tab >Select JLab GO Work Hands-Free AG Audio and select "Set default"
