I’m setting up my pc and instead of asking me the type of account the screen just says sign in for work or school account, but my account is a personal account so I can’t sign in.

I see. If you have no intention to use this computer in a company settings, you will need to get in touch with the manufacturer support to see if you can exchange it for Windows 11 home or pro instead. If the Windows came with the device, you are on OEM license. So you will have get the support from manufacturer.
That was the version that the computer came with downloaded
Windows 11 Enterprise is the problem right here. Enterprise edition is not meant to be signed in by personal account. Is there any reason you ended up with the enterprise edition?
