error code 0x800736b3

Question

Im trying to update windows but i keep getting the following: error code 0x800736b3
The version im trying to update into is KB5025239, on windows 11 22H2

Just tried install from there, but it says that the update couldn´t be installed

Just did all that process, but the error still remains the same as before. Also right now each time i try to update, its stuck at 70% of installing and then it fails to install every time

Please follow the steps here:

Search for cmd in the search bar.

Right click on the results and click on run as administrator.

Paste this command in it and press enter after each command ( please make sure of this, enter key needs to be pressed after each of this line):

net stop wuauserv

net stop cryptSvc

net stop bits

net stop msiserver

ren C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution SoftwareDistribution.old

ren C:\Windows\System32\catroot2 Catroot2.old

net start wuauserv

net start cryptSvc

net start bits

net start msiserver

Once all of this is done type exit and then press enter.

The command prompt window will close.

Restart your device after this and check for updates again.
