When the power supply is cut outside my door, my pc will get to shutdown. In this case a small battery plugged in my pc would be useful? Or any other good idea do you have? If so, it would be grateful to let me know how to do. Intrusions happen frequently even though when I am sleeping. They are leaving clues on purpose. It means my life is up to them. - It is a warning to do nothing. - to Micosoft communitye useful?

Correct. It's called an Uninterruptible Power Supply or UPS. Also known as a battery backup. Find them in any store that sells PC equipment.

    Hi the number,

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

Your confusion makes sense. This involves property or personal security.

Is the intrusion you are talking about related to people, or is it just about the power being cut off?

Depending on the product design specifications, the battery capacity of the computer is different.

But usually, small batteries designed for computers don't last long.

If by intrusion you mean someone else is interfering with your life, it may be a better option to report the problem to the police.

If the main problem you are describing is power supply, then you can prepare some additional energy devices.

    • Such as Uninterruptible power supply.
An uninterruptible power supply or uninterruptible power source (UPS) is an electrical apparatus that provides emergency power to a load when the input power source or mains power fails. A UPS differs from an auxiliary or emergency power system or standby generator in that it will provide near-instantaneous protection from input power interruptions, by supplying energy stored in batteries, supercapacitors, or flywheels. The on-battery run-time of most uninterruptible power sources is relatively short (only a few minutes) but sufficient to start a standby power source or properly shut down the protected equipment. It is a type of continual power system.

A UPS is typically used to protect hardware such as computers, data centers, telecommunication equipment or other electrical equipment where an unexpected power disruption could cause injuries, fatalities, serious business disruption or data loss. UPS units range in size from ones designed to protect a single computer without a video monitor (around 200 volt-ampere rating) to large units powering entire data centers or buildings.

There are many different brands of UPS products on the market, and you can choose according to your needs.

If you are worried that buying just one is not enough, you can also prepare more.

If there is anything not clear, please do not hesitate to let me know.

    Best Regards,
