Hello! My name is Mostafa; I will assist you today.

I’m sorry that you are experiencing this issue. The error message you are seeing is “Collaborative processor power controls on processor 2 in group 0 are disabled due to a firmware problem.” This error message is related to the power management feature of your computer’s processor.

Please refer to the Lenovo website and update your BIOS to the latest version.

If you still have an issue, it's a hardware issue; it might be worth contacting Lenovo support. Thank you.

Collaborative processor power controls on processor 2 in group 0 are disabled due to a firmware problem.

Firmware is a driver that's installed directly on hardware vs. being installed on your hard drive.

In this case, the firmware is the driver for your motherboard, which is installed in a chip on the motherboard itself. This firmware is also known as the BIOS.

Your motherboard and its firmware came from Lenovo, so this is a question you have to ask Lenovo.

Reinstalling Windows has no effect on the firmware that Lenovo installed on your computer's motherboard.

There is one thing you might try before contacting Lenovo: Enter the BIOS and install the latest BIOS update for your computer. That won't likely help, because your computer is old and probably has the last BIOS update already.
