I bought my computer a few years ago from a local shop and for the past few years all has been well. The settings previous to now said that everything was activated and fine, but now it says that windows needs to be activated. Does anyone know what happened?

Thanks for the reply, but It isn't sending the key, it's just re-sending OA3xOriginalProductKey, I'm not sure what happened any advice there?

Thank you for writing. Did you change any hardware on your computer? Sometimes with will cause this problem.
Before we begin to try to fix this problem, you should first try to find the activation code on the computer/
Please type cmd in the search (do not hit enter)
Click on Run as Administrator
Enter the code below and hit enter. You should see the activation code. Take a screenshot of the code.
wmic path SoftwareLicensingService get OA3xOriginalProductKey
Once you have done this, enter the code below on the same page.
Type slmgr /renew
Now Restart your PC.
