Cursor problem

Hi,

My cursor moves randomly - jittering like - at points after I play games (not extensively, just some).

I know it is not fault of my mouse as when I disconnect it mid-jitter, the jittering and random movement continues.

Previously, I turned off my touchpad and it seemed to solve it for a while. Before, the cursor would randomly move and tons of tabs would open up and random symbols would be typed.

I have ran a lot of virus and malware checks on my laptop so it is unlikely that it is that, but I am by no means an expert in anything laptop related so cannot say anything for certain.

Any advice would be appreciated. Many thanks for reading!
