Error Code 0x80070002 activation error.

Question

In May I got a cumulative update, and from then I am getting the error code 0x80070002 activation error. But before that there was no such issue. Please guide!

This error generally occurs when an attempt is made by the users to create a new account in their Outlook application.

Below are the reasons which are responsible for this unwanted error are:

• Outlook PST File is corrupted
• Unreachable location where PST file for new Outlook account needs to be created

Although It is a system error that affects the Outlook application due to inconsistent between Outlook and Windows Operating System, leading to the Outlook error code 0x80070002.
