Thanks for replying so I'm using the Brave browser and it seems this issue just happens on Brave, but manually adding .jpg does work however I'd like to fix this if possibly so it automatically puts it to .jpg while I'm using brave

So when I try to save a picture from the internet it should normally say save as JPG but it just tells me to save as the file type All Files. How to fix?

What web browser ae you using, and does this just happen on one website or all websites?

If you manually add the .jpg file extension to the file name when you are saving the image files, does the image then open correctly?
Hello Dave, I happen to encounter the same problem but for me manually adding jpg, PNG, and other image format does not work. Can you also help? My browser of choice is Google.

Try clearing the cache in your Brave browser, then restart it to see if that solves the problem, if not, uninstall Brave, restart your PC and then re-install Brave to test if that solves the image download problem.
