barcode issue after DB mgiration

We have migrated the site from 2010 to 2016.
I addressed the end user with below article to make bar code work in 2016.

    Based on your description, I understand that you want to remove barcodes in the site collection.

    1.Go to list or library settings -> Information Management Policy Settings -> Select the content type -> Unclick Enable Barcodes.
    2.Use PowerShell to remove columns "Barcode", "Barcode Value", and "Exempt from Policy".
