Support for Windows Server 2008 already ended and it is better to upgrade to the supported version of Windows Server.
Windows Server 8 : change encoding settings
hi all,
i wish to change the windows server 2008 encoding.
currently it is set to ISO 8859-1 (BodyName), i wish to change this into UTF-8
more over what exact value should i indicate in order to switch to UTF-8?
can you please help me?

To elaborate, there is not a global encoding option in Windows Server 2008 that let us both 1) set a global default which 2) all the applications you listed would obey.
You can't make the conversion of ISO 8859-1 to UTF - 8 in place because the UTF-8 version will be usually longer time (unless you convert a pure ASCII file, which is unnecessary in the first place conversion).More information here:
