Hyper-V Boot Loop with Xeon Silver CPU

Hi,

I experience boot loop issue when I activate VMX in BIOS and enable Hyper-V on Windows. I have tried it on Windows 10 Pro 22H2 with the latest update but problem still continues. The only way I can access Windows is disabling VMX on BIOS. "systeminfo.exe" shows that I have all requirements of Hyper-V (all yes).

What should I do? Do you know VMX related MSR CPU register values so that I can check? Or is there something else wrong?

Thanks,

Hello, I'm Greg, here to help you with this.

This is far beyond what we do here in this basic consumer forum. I would ask this question to your System Admin, or at our sister forums for IT Professionals, Q&A forums here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-US/answers/index....

Microsoft Community is strictly an end-consumer forum. Solutions we give here will conflict with the organization''s Group Policy which we do not use in consumer forums at all.

There are also equally good (and sometimes busier) 3rd party IT Pro forums here:

    https://www.techrepublic.com/forums/

    https://www.spiceworks.com/

    I hope it helps.
