Can't Change Display Language

It's not letting me change the language of Windows to English. I had some issues with my PC and had to reinstall Windows, i'm currently living in Japan so i had no choice but to buy a Japanese one. I thought it was fine, i bought my PC in Vietnam and was able to change the language just fine, heck, even in China i changed my work computers to English, but it seems my Japanese license is preventing me from changing the language?

But, it says here "This Windows license only supports one language"(yes, i can read a little Japanese, but i'd prefer to use Windows in English)

I've installed the Canadian English language page, where it also says the same message. The drop down on the top only shows Japanese. Is there any way to force a language change?

Hi! I'm Laurice, an Independent Advisor. I will try my best to help you.

It seems that you are using Windows 11 (Single Language). This means that you won't be able to change the display language to English. You would have to upgrade to Windows 11 Pro to add a new language.

You can upgrade to Windows 11 Pro with the help of this article: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/upg...

I was running a Windows 11 before an was able to change the language, i just installed the new Windows OS because i had some issues with booting and recovery was broken. Is there any way to put in my previous key? I don't know where it's located on my device. I would not be willing to pay $130 just to change my language, that's ridiculous.

Well, i'd rather not reinstall it. Isn't there anyway i could switch the "single language" to English? I don't understand why Windows would even make a "single language" edition, seems like a cash grab to me. Paid $190 for this Windows Home edition, when i already owned a license...
