    Hi Joaquin,

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

I'm Hahn and I'm here to help you with your concern.

There are a few things you need to check before installing third-party apps in Windows. First, you need to make sure that the app is compatible with your Windows version and architecture (32-bit or 64-bit). Second, you need to make sure that you have enough storage space on your device for the app. Third, you need to make sure that you have the permission to install apps from outside the Microsoft Store.

If your device is running Windows 10 or 11 in S mode, you will not be able to install third-party apps at all. You will need to switch out of S mode first, but this is a one-way process and you cannot go back to S mode later. To switch out of S mode, you can follow the steps in this article: Switching out of S mode in Windows - Microsoft Support

If your device is not in S mode, you can change the setting to allow installing apps from anywhere.

Be careful when installing third-party apps, as they may not be safe or reliable. Always scan the files with an antivirus software and check the reviews and ratings before installing an app. Microsoft Store is still the best place to get apps for Windows.

If there is anything not clear, please do not hesitate to let me know.

    Your Sincerely

Hahn - MSFT | Microsoft Community Support Specialist
