Many times, reinstalling the USB drivers may fix this problem. I have attached the directions below.
- Please right-click on the Start Menu and select Device Manager. Then hit enter.
This will open the Device Manager.
- Scroll down the page and click on Universal Serial Bus Controllers
- Right-click on all of the file drivers and uninstall them. Don't worry. Windows will reinstall them.
- Then restart the computer. Windows will reinstall the drivers and fix any USB problems.
