I had this error for 1 months

This happend when I was using Dism Restore and diden't notice my windows update on security was running. I have notice that it gave this error. (I know that my other update Work but only my security update don't) Iv tried changing the software distribution folder and cartoon folder, with no success. Ive used .net repair, and it did install the update but when a new one is released it won't install unless I use .net repair or I manually download it. Most recommened method diden't work for me.

Looking for some more ways to adresses this issue.

Waiting for Reply!!

Thanks

Hi and thanks for reaching out. My name is Bernard a Windows fan like you. I'll be happy to help you out today.

I understand the issue you have, there is nothing to worry I am here to help, this usually happens due to misconfiguration of update components, since you have done basic troubleshooting steps, I suggest doing an in-place upgrade wherein it will upgrade the device to the latest version and repair all issues without deleting any files.

Kindly follow the steps from this link:

Let me know how it goes and I hope that helps.

Bernard
