When i try to open "http" and "https" files, popup comes and says "You'll need a new app to open this https" but clicking on an app doesn't change anything. It wants to select a web browser again. I tried in settings i can change the other extensions like .txt .png but http and https dont change. I tried reseting all default apps but it didnt work. Can i do anything about it like setting in cmd regedit or something?

I have the same issue; I had tried resetting the default apps and even tried setting default for each file type and still the issue seems to persist.

    Device Info - Windows -11 22H2 and Build version - 22624.1391.

    Hi M Levent,

There are other methods (e.g., SetUserFTA) to set the protocol associations, but diagnosing the issue is suggested.

Generate a system information report (.NFO file) using the MSINFO32 tool.
