Product key problem

so i just bought a product key to activate windows 11 on my new pc and the product key is under the form: XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX but whenever I try to copy and paste the product key I can't add the very last character in, it physically doesn't let me and when I try to paste in the entire product key it deletes the very last character. Is this a common problem with a known fix? I have been able to install word and the other applications but can't modify any of the personalisation settings of my computer.

    Kindly replace the Z character with number 2 and then try activating Windows or check again its edition.

    In the link, click "Windows." In the pop-up screen, click the Get Home Support button. Type the concern (e.g., Windows Activation), then click Get Help. If you are already signed in, click the "Contact Support" button that will appear at the bottom of the page. Otherwise, sign in to your Microsoft account to proceed. Select Windows in the Product and Services then click confirm. On the next page, click the "Provide your phone number and a support agent will call you Product Activation for Windows" link. Provide your phone number, then click confirm.

    I just checked from the showkeyplus and the key is invalid, to answer the other question yes there is a Z in my key. I don't understand though as i purchased this key directly from the microsoft website. Is there a way to ask for a new key?

    Kindly verify if you will encounter the same issue by checking the product key type and edition. Please download the ShowKeyPlus app from the Microsoft Store. Run the app, then go to the "Check edition" option. Input the key, then click the check button.

    In addition, kindly check if you have this character in your product key.

    If you possess one of the characters mentioned above on your product key, I advise getting in touch with the vendor and requesting for a new license key. Because Microsoft does not use those characters on a product key.
