User Profile Disconnected

I have multiple user profiles on my pc. I often encounter the 'blue screen of death (recovery)' which forces a restart. After the restart, a key user profile is not listed. It is the same user profile impacted each time this occurs. Previously I regained access through the 'other user' option (entering the username and password). This method previously opened the user profile and repopulated the user list with the missing profile. This time, however, when I undertake this same process, it states that the username and or password is incorrect. They are not as these credentials access my account online every time.

Does anyone have an alternate solution to regain access to my user profile?

IMPORTANT: The user profile/folders are still physically on the C:DRIVE

    Hello Helping Hand Required,

Thanks for using Microsoft products and posting in the community.

I'm sorry to hear that you are having problems with your user profile.

From what you have described, the user profile may be corrupted and you can try to repair the corrupted user profile in Windows.

Here are the steps to follow.

      1. you can first log in to the system using another administrator account
      1. Then create a new local administrator user account
      1. Change the newly created account to an administrator account
      1. Copy the corrupted user profile to the new user profile

There are detailed steps in the following link.
