Windows is resetting default programs for .pdf files

Question

Windows is resetting default programs for .pdf files to edge everytime I open a pdf with a adobe program.

My pdf program is Foxit and I really want that windows keeps the settings I change.

i am trying to send a pdf file to a mail recipient and this pops up There is no email program associated to perform the requested action. Please install an email program or if one is already installed, create an association in the default programs control panel

I am Ivan, I will help you with this.

1. Get to a pdf file, select the properties option.
2. In the option I opened with click on change, select the program you want "Foxit reader".
3. Click apply and then logoff from windows and login again.
