I have a new laptop. The first day it worked perfectly but when i turn it on the next day, the touchpad stopped working. Touchpad settings are completly missing from the blutooth and devices menu and also in the device manager. When i tried to install the drivers like HID I2C nothing happens, even doesn't appear on the list and i can't find anything in the bios. I have already tried manually downloading and installing drivers from online and nothing works.

My device model is

ASUS Zenbook UX3402ZA. Please help me i'm going crazy.

Hi Cami! I hope you are well. My name is, Zadee. I'm an Independent Advisor and a Microsoft user like you. Sorry to hear about your experience. I'll try my best to help you today.

Have you tried downloading/installing the older touchpad driver version from Asus's Website? There are 2 versions on the site, perhaps there's just something with the new one. I have not done that, please download and install the driver from the link below.

    Version V16.0.0.9:

    Source:

    https://www.asus.com/laptops/for-home/zenbook/z...

    Same?
