hey ,

i thought to add the installation of scom agent to my VM template (for now me have to manually approve the agents after they appeared in the pendint management view) and i have a question about it .

if i will not approve some agents and they will stay in the pendint management because the agent is installed on the VM , did it can cause something?
maybe some traffic issues ?
or maybe it will slow down my console or my Management servers ?

best regards ,

Matan.

It shouldn't be an issue at all; however I must say I have observer in very rare occurences that an agent installed in a VM but not communicating with a management group for an extended period of time could generate an unusually high number of IOPS in that VM.
I never took the time to investigate it further, though.

    Hi @matan alter ,

I agree with Cyril here. Your agents, which are not approved will try to request configuration from the management server in a regular basis, but since they are not approved, the requests will be denied. This communication does not affect the performance of your SCOM Management Group in any way an can be neglected.
