connection issue

Dear Microsoft community,

Premising that I am not an IT expert but I do work with computers , and therefore my writing up might seem technical but I am not a technician, I would need some easy-to-apply suggestions to solve my problem. I am encountering an issue with wifi connection, just for a single WLAN (the one I have at home).

I have re-installed the drivers, after appropriate download from the ASUS website (I have an Asus laptop, Vivobook X512FA), I have restored default firewall settings (as I played around with those at first to try to solve the issue), I have also checked whether I had the proxy turned on but nothing seems to work.

On top of that, I have already tried with the following command from the CMD prompt (run as an administrator):

netsh winsock reset

ipconfig /release

netsh int ip reset

ipconfig /flushdns

ipconfig /renew

and then restarted my computer, as already suggested [FIXED] Windows 10 | WiFi connected but No Internet - Microsoft Community

The funniest thing is that the connection is here and I can use it with my mobile, but not with my laptop.

Basically, on my laptop I am still allowed to use WhatsApp messenger application (I receive texts and I can reply, therefore I assume both incoming and outcoming data-flow works), but every time I try to open a browser (independently of which one I pick among Chrome, Edge or Mozilla) I get the error for running out of time. Also, when I am in the office I can use the browsers normally, cause I am connected to my university-WLAN thus, I assume I have no issue with my hardware or the network adapter. I have also contacted the network-provider and everything seems to work, although I wasn't able to restore my APN.

Nevertheless, if I open the Device Manager, go to the Network adapter of interest (Realtek8822CE) and ask to see all the event for it, I get this error with the kernel PnP.

    Hi

    Welcome to Microsoft community.

If you can use your browser on wifi at school, there is a problem with the configuration of wifi in your home.

You can try resetting the router in your home, then change a wifi ssid (wifi name) and reconnect to check if the problem disappears.

Please feel free to let me know if you have any further updates, thanks.

    Best regards
