I haven't seen comments available on the articles lately. Is this a permanent decision, or the guidelines being revisited?
Commenting has not been shut down. but they made it harder to find.

Honestly, I haven't seen anything official to report, they warned on Oct 21, 2022, "A Slight Change To Our Comment Section"
at this present moment, MSN in some languages are with the comments active, apparently and English US too.
if apparently there was some blocking of comments on their articles due to concerns around moderation or other reasons related to user experience.
