    If you're talking about the Web Protection item at the bottom of the Security Providers screen in Windows Security Settings, this selection will normally indicate 'No providers' for consumer owned systems.

    That's because this item exists to display the provider configured with certain security suites for business, but not for individual consumer user devices. For consumers, the equivalent support is provided by Windows Defender SmartScreen in both Windows Edge and Wimdows itself as discussed in the following document.
