Mcaffee Interference

Anonymous

Mcaffee constantly interferes with Windows Defender, Core Isolation features are told to be turned off, McAffee breaks the Microsoft Firewall and replaces it with their own and it's getting annoying! I can never think I'm safe because every day I get a warning sign and I presume it's McAffee predominately overtaking that setting.
Can anybody tell me how to disable the trial/and or stop them from intervening with eachother? It'd be greatly appreciated.

Hi Ashton,

I am Dave, I will help you with this.

Open the Settings app, then go to Apps - Installed Apps, do you find a version of McAfee installed on your PC?

If there is, because the standard uninstaller does not fully remove McAfee, the best option is to download the official McAfee Removal tool from this link to completely remove McAfee from your PC, then restart your PC and Windows Security will then be fully in charge of protecting your system.

    Hi Ashton,

Rest assured if McAfee is installed, it will take over the parts it replaces, this is not dangerous, it is using its own methods and processes to protect your PC.

Is McAffee disabling some of the settings and replacing it with their own dangerous or not to worry?
