color stripping of duplicate rows in Excel

Hello,

I need to highlight all rows of similar cells in a column with alternating color, simple single color for all similar rows, on and off like below screenshot

I did not find any suitable way by searching the web.
Appreciate any help. Thank you,

    For the example you provided, please select row 2:24, use Conditional Formatting, click New Rule, select Use a formula to determine which cells to format, enter this formula =ISODD($A2), then in Format, choose a color in Fill tab,click OK.
