Boot issues/probable gpt corruption

Issue: Boot

Platform: Windows 11

Boot Drive: WD Blue SN570 500GB

Bootloader: GPT

Hi! I had turned off my computer and then opened it up to clean it, but moments later, I noticed that it had started booting out and at that time I had removed the SSD. The consequence of which is now freezing during booting. I boot into windows after a hard bios reset and then attempt to fix using chkdsk, dism, sfc, and thought it fixed it but it didn't and after that it froze on the loading screen. I have reinstalled windows twice and the only way to boot is by hard resetting the bios. I even tried to fix gpt via the bootrec method, but met with access denied when "bootrec /FixBoot" command was executed. I also tried to get rid of the readonly attribute from the volume 1 onto which I suspect the EFI to be installed. Yet again, I am unable to clear the attribute.

Chkdsk on recovery mode says that the disk has issues and when I tried to fix them, It says that it that the disk is write protected.

Could anyone help me?

Yes, this may mean motherboard's problems. Did you check for the BIOS updates?

And you may try to clean the drive entirely before reinstallation using diskpart tool and its clean command.

The manufacturers tool showed that the ssd is fine and i tried reinstalling for a 3rd time, but it froze on booting screen. Files were copied, installed, but wouldn't boot. I suspect bios issues

    Hi Aatmik,

My name is Igor, it's a pleasure for me to help others and I'll do all my best to help you.

I'm sorry for the bad news, but SSD may become read-only when it detects some internal problems. Can you use it in another PC as secondary and check with the manufacturer's tool?
