Hello everyone

So while playing games after the newest update seems like my fps drops a lot but when i run task manager and close it then everything works fine again.

Maybe is that some kind of virus?

    Hi,

Have you noticed this issue in all the games or just a few of them? If only a few please let me know the names.

    Hi,

It should not drop that much. So just opening the task manager the issue gets resolved. So it looks like some background process or application is taking up the performance. Try closing down all open application when you are playing the game. As the issue happens at random it will be difficult to identify it.

You can do a malware check but I doubt it is a malware as malware will cause more constant harm and will not stop when you open the task manager.

    Hi ,

Sabya here, Independent Windows Adviser. Hope you are doing well.

Task manager or any other program takes up resources so if you launch any application it will lead to a drop in performance leading to FPS drops. Task managers generally lead to more FPS drops I have also noticed while playing.

So how much the FPS drops for you? If it is around 10 FPS then it is fine.

    My pleasure to assist you.
