I asked a question about this already and when I thought I fixed it this continues to happen. I'm willing to try as much fixes as possible and I already have reinstalled my drivers. (this also only affects my laptop my other devices are fine like mac and phone)

The card is a dual band card, but since it is working in N mode (Radio type : 802.11n means 2.4GHz) only & not in AC mode=5GHz), it could be the card (Realtek chip) is faulty & you need to replace the card. Since the card is a 1*1 TR that means only one antenna connector inside. So, you cannot probably install a better quality 2*2 MIMO AX/AC/A/B/G/N card & have to stick with similar 1TR cards. You already mentioned you have reinstalled the drivers, you can try some older drivers from ASUS https://www.asus.com/my/supportonly/x415dap/hel...

If that helps you make the radio work in 5GHz mode & shows 802.11AC in device properties.

https://youtu.be/LsMVSTDYCHk?t=61 may watch this video to change the band to 5GHz if your card giving you the option.

Please search and run msinfo32 from start and post the output here. I will be able to see your PC model details.
You can open cmd searching from start and write this command and press enter.
    netsh wlan show interfaces
Check the output what that says in 'radio type ' & also tell me the output of description line

I sadly don't have access to any wired way of connecting but I am quite close to my router being a few steps away and my laptop is pretty new from what I know

    Hi Godfrey

This is Tamal trying to help you with the issue.

It seems you are connected over Wireless, if so several factors can affect connection quality. If possible, test wired & check if the issue persists.

Factors like band in use (2.4 in current PC whereas 5Ghz in other devices), distance from router, age of the hardware, size of antenna (inside/outside) or the wireless card itself can be the issue.
