Meeting room calendar showing meetings not accepted
Until recently when someone booked a meeting room on the room's calendar, it showed up on the calendar without a problem, and the person who booked the room received a confirmation that the booking was accepted.
Something has changed recently. Now, when someone books a room, it shows up on the room calendar but as not accepted, so it has the dashes around it rather than a solid line.
We cannot find anything that has changed as far as permissions.
We are using Outlook 2016, Exchange Server.
How can we get the rooms to auto accept again?
Outlook | Windows | Classic Outlook for Windows | For business
Exchange | Exchange Server | Management

2021-06-02T08:54:09.843+00:00 Hi @Zane Stein ,
Did this issue occur on this specific room mailbox only? And is this the same for all meetings created by different users in this room mailbox? If so, please first try to log into owa to check if it could be displayed as accepted.
If the meeting is also shown as tentative in owa, the issue may be related to your mailbox instead of Outlook desktop client. In this case, please kindly understand here we mainly focus on genenral issues on Outlook, I have tried to research and test a lot for your issues.
Now, when someone books a room, it shows up on the room calendar but as not accepted, so it has the dashes around it rather than a solid line
In the point of exchange, did you configure a delegate to manage the room booking? And how did the user book the room(create meeting in his calendar and choose the room or create the meeting in room's calendar directly) ?
According to my tests, if we create the meeting in room's calendar directly, it would always be accepted automatically(display a solid line.), but if you are working with booking delegdate of room mailbox or your AutomateProcessing is set to "AutoUpdate", and then we create the meeting in other calendar , "Meeting requests are tentative in the calendar until they're approved by a delegate", so agree with michev, please first try to follow this article to check your settings : Set-CalendarProcessing
If it's your case, I found a similar thread that mentioned configuring your AutomateProcessing settings to AutoAccept may work for it, please kindly check if it could also be helfpul to you.
If that's not your case, please provide us with more information to further analyze your issue.
