System keeps crashing causing the GPU
A few days ago I was cleaning my computer including every single part. I opened up the graphics card, cleaned it with IPA and replaced the thermal paste on the GPU. I turned on the computer and everything was fine. After a few minutes, I launched the remastered Spider-Man game and the entire system froze in the menu. The same thing happened in GTA 5 and GTA 4. After the crash, I even got a blue screen with the description: "DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION". Before getting these bsods, I tried a different GPU (GT 730 4GB) and had to install outdated nvidia drivers (388.11 I think). I searched fix for this bsod on youtube and thought it was due to outdated drivers, so I deleted the old ones and installed the new ones. Nothing happened, still the same problem. Everything is fine when the GPU usage drops below 20%, so I can do everything but play or render something. I also restored the system to default settings and nothing worked, still the same. Could you help me with this or should I buy another GPU? I also run manjaro linux dual boot so I could see if it was happening there too.
specifications:
gpu - GTX 1060 3GB
ram - 32GB ddr4 2133Mhz Patriot Viper
cpu - i5-7400
