After an update last week, my computer now has multiple areas with "Install error - 0x80070012". Ive called Geek Squad tech support, they couldn't fix it, I followed Microsoft Tech Support steps to try to fix it, I even tried to RESET my computer which the system will NOT let me. I am not sure what else to do. Is there anything that can be done to get this resolved? My printer no longer works due to driver error, I can't open my files in my email due to this install error. My PDF printer does NO LONGER work.

This issue started after an update was completed last week. I was trying to print and the system said the driver was unavailable for my printer. Then I called tech support and see if it was an HP error but it is Windows update error. I have 12 items on my update list that will not update due to this Install error 0x80070002. After exhausting every option I could possibly find to resolve this issue, I did try to RESET my computer to factory settings so I can start fresh but it will not complete due to this and at the end will state that the RESET was not completed and no changes were made.

    Hello, how are you?

Could you give more information about the problem, please?

    When is this error displayed?

Could you provide a screenshot of the error please?

Did you try to perform a factory reset and got an error?
