It is rare or unusual for Windows to be converted from Home to Pro as there is no known issue of this for Windows 11 Home and from your initial post you posted that you are unable to activate Windows 11 Pro. Press Windows key + R and from the run box type in there cmd and press Enter or click OK and from the Command Prompt window type in there slmgr /dlv and post back the result from the Windows Script Host pop-up.
we cannot activate Windows on this device error code: 0xCC004F074
I am unable to activate windows 11 pro and getting following error. Does anyone know, what is the issue and how to resolve it. Thanks
We can't activate Windows on this device as we can't connect your organization activation server. Make sure you are connected to your organization's network and try again. If you continue having problems with activation, contact your organization's support person error code 0xCC004F074.

2023-03-02T16:31:02+00:00 Just to double check, this has pre-installed Windows 11 and you just upgrade to Windows 11 Pro?

2023-03-02T16:28:56+00:00 Thank you Paul for your prompt and detailed response.
I purchased this laptop in August 2022 with built in Windows 1135G7 (Lenovo Ideapad 3). We have encountered this particular issue today.
It was fine earlier with no activation error messages or issues whatsoever.
I am wondering, it has been quite a while now, I cannot go back to the seller and ask for a refund. Do we have any solution to this particular issue?
Thanks in advance

2023-03-02T16:08:57+00:00 Good day Mahd, thanks for your question. I am glad to be able to provide assistance to you today. This error message means that the product key that you are using is intended for business/organizations as it is looking for the KMS host in which it is the one that is authenticating the product key to be activated and this is not intended for consumer/personal use. If you just recently bought this Windows 11 Pro outside from a third party reseller then you can return this and ask for a refund as you will always encounter this issue.
Regards,
Paul R.
