Is your Windows machine in a workgroup? If so, based on "Every time I have to reset my password,", do you mean reset the local user password (such as built-in local Administrator)?
If so, you can set Enforce password history policy to 0.
Open local group policy (type gpedit.msc and click Enter) and navigate to Computer Configuration\Windows Settings\Security Settings\Account Policies\Password Policy and set the value.
The Enforce password history policy setting determines the number of unique new passwords that must be associated with a user account before an old password can be reused.
